Angulas by Daporta
Angulas are baby eels (also known as Elvers) that are harvested in exclusive estuaries in northern Spain. A labor of love, these wild-caught angulas are revered in Spain and beyond. Alongside percebes (gooseneck barnacles), they command a high price and are a delicacy among the gastronomic treasures of Spain.
Conservas Daporta is a family-run business that started in Pontevedra (Cambados, Galicia) in 1940. Today, they are specialized in the production, harvest and canning of unique seafoods primarily for restaurants and gourmet delicatessens.
Packed in olive oil, with a garlic clove, red guindilla pepper, and salt.
